| The Hill Country Hash House Harriers is celebrating its 225th Hash and would like you to join us for fun-filled, food-filled, and of course, a beer-filled weekend on beautiful Lake Belton. This extravaganza will be held 11 – 13 July 2008 at the Cedar Ridge Park on Lake Belton (see the Map at the bottom of this page). The event will consist of five meals with beer, three trails (see below) and beer, a t-shirt/gimmees and beer, Hash Olympics and beer, and lots of partying and beer. Oh! Did I mention that there will be beer? The area in Cedar Ridge Park is completely self contained, has plenty of camping space, twelve RV parking slots (first come, first serve), a large, covered pavilion for dancing and partying, real flush toilets, and hot showers. For those so inclined, there is a horseshoe pit and volleyball court. On arriving at Cedar Ridge Park gate, tell the custodian that you are with the Hill Country at Turkey Roost. You will be issued a pass and gate code. When checking in, if you have pre-registered, you will be issued an ID tag. Keep this with you at all times as you will need it for meals and your “gimmee bag”. For those who have not registered, be prepared to fill out a rego form and have the exact amount of cash (Please). Your ID tag will have your name filled in by the staff. For those who registered by PayPal, please have a completed rego form. There will be an Eagle Trail, a Turkey Trail, and a Chicken Trail on Saturday (12 Jul). All trails will start at different times to ensure that all participants arrive at the finish more or less together. |
